Updated : May 11, 2026

Comedian Satya has been one of the most popular and highly in-demand comedic actor in recent Telugu cinema history. After Sunil, he is the most preferred comedian but he seems to be taking similar risky steps like his senior as a lead. While Sunil did action movies, Satya is cleverly sticking to comedy.

He did try some action in Jet Lee, but the movie ended up being a first day first show disaster. Well, he accepted another film as a lead with Yogi Babu as a parallel lead. Well, Yogi Babu is highly popular in Tamil and he is doing continuous films as a lead but he lacks box office hits in leading roles.

Now, Satya after Jet Lee might find it hard to convince distributors and exhibitors to invest in this film but he is trusting Rangabali director, Pawan Basimsetty. While that movie failed at box office, comedy scenes of Satya became a hit with audiences and that seems to have given confidence to makers and the actor too.

Still, the project seems like a major risk from the comedian following footsteps of Sunil. One good thing though, like Ali, Babu Mohan, he did not stop accepting roles in other movies and that should keep him away from going down the path of Sunil and keep entertaining audiences with his comedy.
