Updated : May 11, 2026

The makers of the upcoming period action drama Bhogi have released a new character poster, officially introducing Dimple Hayathi as Mandaram. Directed by Sampath Nandi and starring Sharwanand in the lead role, the film is set against a 1960s rural backdrop along the borders of Telangana and Maharashtra.

In the newly unveiled poster, Dimple Hayathi is seen wearing a bright red saree, seated in a rustic setting while holding a traditional palm-leaf hand fan. Her intense expression and styling align closely with the vintage theme of the movie. She is playing a bold prostitute character.

Further, the character of Mandaram is described by the team as a bold, unapologetic woman with a fiery attitude, emphasizing that she is someone who lives strictly on her own terms. The makers introduced her look on social media with the quote, "Beauty the world desired.. A soul it never understood."

Bhogi, which also features Anupama Parameswaran in a prominent role, is currently in its production phase, with the next shooting schedule planned in Hyderabad. The film is produced by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner and features music by Bheems Ceciroleo. It is scheduled for a pan-India theatrical release in multiple languages on August 28, 2026.
