Phenomenal actor Ajay Devgn's long awaited film Maidaan is directed by Amit Ravindernath Sharma of Badhaai Ho fame, with music composed by AR Rahman. The film has scheduled to release on the occasion of Eid, April 2024.

Today, the makers announced the highly anticipated trailer release date alongside a captivating poster that has everyone mesmerized. The poster features Ajay Devgn in the role of Syed Abdul Rahim from Hyderabad, hailed as the architect of Indian football, embracing players, with the stadium crowd cheering on the team.

In addition to Ajay, the film stars Priyamani, Gajraj Rao, and several young actors. The trailer is set to release on March 7th. This film holds special significance for Hyderabad for numerous reasons, and there is eager anticipation for both the trailer and the film in the south.

Maidaan retells the story of the golden era of Indian football, which spanned from the time period of 1952 to 1962. The film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages. The film is produced by Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta, Akash Chawla in association with Zee Studios.
