Talking about BHIMAA journey, he said "Sridhar Garu, the producer of this movie, introduced director Harsha during Covid. Then Harsha told a story in pace time. The story is good, but at a time like this, it is not needed. He told the 'Bhimaa story' after taking a gap of eight months. Loved the story and Bhimaa's characterization. I also liked the semi-fantasy element of the story. That's how the film started.

Talking about the Brahma Rakshasa refernce, he said "It is said that Brahmaraksha must come to kill the demon. Bhimaa is a commercial packed movie. There is a lot of intensity in Bhimaa's role. Talking about playing cop role after long time, he said "Andhrudu is based on a love story but its background is a police story. It is also a different story. Bhimaa is a completely different character for these three films. The semi-fantasy element is very new in a police story like this. That's what got me so interested. Talking about Akhanda comparisons, he said "No. Bhimaa and Akhanda are not related. Aghoras, color palette, music may seem so but Bhimaa is a completely different story. The story takes place in Parasuramkshetra. That is why we have taken such a background."
