Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2, directed by Shankar Shanmugam, is currently in production and is scheduled for release later this year. Meanwhile, the versatile actor has a biggie titled Thug Life under the direction of renowned filmmaker Maniratnam.

The first schedule of Thug Life started recently in Chennai. The makers confirmed that Trisha Krishnan, Dulquer Salmaan, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Gautham Karthik and Joju George are onboarded with official poster.

The latest we hear is that the sensational pan indian actor Dulquer Salmaan opted out of this biggie. The reasons are unknown but everyone predicting that the actor couldn't arrange bulk dates for the project.

The film is produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananthi under the banners of Raaj Kamal International Films and Madras Talkies.

Udhayanidhi Stalin serves as the movie’s presenter, and the acclaimed AR Rahman is handling the music composition.
