2013 turned out to be a very profitable year for Telugu film industry. Nayak, SVSC, Mirchi, Swamy Ra Ra, Baadshah, Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyindhe have turned out to be money spinners at the box-office. Except for the film Nayak and SVSC, all the other films had a solo release at the box-office. According to the buzz, NTR starrer Ramayya Vasthavayya and Pawan Kalyan's Upcoming movie (Attharintiki Daaredhi) will be locking horns in the month of August. Both these films are reportedly scheduled to be released within a gap of 2 days.

Lot of distributors feel that both the films will be suffering as Pawan Kalyan & NTR enjoy huge fan following and this might affect the collections of their respective movies. On the other side, it was heard that Pawan Kalyan's movie and Jr NTR's movie will be releasing within gap of 2 weeks just to make sure that both the films can rake the money at the box-office.
