Green Mutton Curry

 

 

Ingredients:

mutton                             - 1/2 kg
ginger garlic paste        - 2 tb spoon
Green leaves(Chukka Saag) chopped - 4 cups
onion                              - 1 big
salt
red chilli powder           - 2 tb spoon
dhania powder             - 1 tb spoon
turmeric powder           - 1/2 tb spoon
whole garam masala powder - 1/2 sp

 

Method:
1. Put washed mutton In a small cooker or pan. add ginger garlic paste& turmeric and simmer for 10 minutes with a lid. without adding salt..so that it will be cooked fast..
2. chop green leaves and oinion. wash leaves n drain. keep aside.
3. meanwhile mutton will b cooked half way. if dries you can sprinkle Some water. not much.
4. Now add salt & red chilli powder to mutton. stir for 2 minutes. add onion & drained green leaves. stirring occasionally. do it for 4 minutes...
5.Now add dhania powder and garam masala. close the lid. cook up to 4-5 whistles on high flame. Then cook on simmer for 5 mints. turn off the stove.
6. after 10 minutes. let the steam off. if there is any excess water you can keep on stove and dry it. add coriander & I added 6-7 drops of olive oil as final touch. (I like olive oil to mix in all my dishes some or order way...it's as per ur option..not mandatory)
7. As much water will b produced from this green leaves, need not to add water also during the whole process .....I sprinkled water occasionally when it's needed...Go ahead with healthy cooking...
