Telangana Assembly secretary Sadaram, who will be the returning officer for the MLC elections to be held on June 1st, may be set aside by the Chief Election Officer for acting in favour of ruling TRS party. TDP and Congress parties have complained against him to Chief Elections Officer Banwarlal and the YSR Congress also complained against him today.
Its leader Shivaram asked the Chief Elections Officer to put him aside in the MLC elections. Banwarlal has positively responds to his request and also assured to appoint two elections-observers to make sure no irregularities take place in the polling. But, this development hints that the YSR Congress party is not going to cast its single MLA vote to the TRS candidate. If so, the Congress party candidate Akulala Lalitha may expect its vote.
Although the polling date is nearing, TRS party that fields 5th candidate has not made any move so far to attract the MLAs of opposition parties. TDP appeals the High Court to order its three MLAs serving the TRS party to stay away from these MLC elections. If the court agrees for it, then chances of winning the elections of the TRS 5th candidate may be remote.
