After Paris, terrorists strikes in Mali

 

Two unidentified gunmen armed with explosives managed to enter into Radisson Blu Hotel in Mali on Friday morning and taken 170 people into hostage including the hotel staff.

 

According to reports, a conference on mining attended by African Development Bank representatives and representatives of mining companies of Africa is about to conclude with Malian Prime Minister’s speech. Hence, there is heavy security cover provided around the hotel. But the terrorists managed to enter into heavily guarded hotel in a vehicle with diplomatic number plates and signs.

 

According to a local radio report, 40 people are hotel staff and rest is mostly foreigners. Terrorist freed 7 people who were able to read Quran and killed 9 people. French troops stationed in a nearby location. Malian police and soldiers sealed the surroundings of the hotel and gearing for lightning strike on the terrorists. UN’s peacekeeping force in Mali and the French troops camping nearby location are also taking part in this operation.
