TN Chief Minister Jayalalitha in Delhi

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalitha is in New Delhi on a two-day visit. She will meet Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh during her stay in the capital. AIR correspondent quoting sources reports that she could also meet Congress President Sonia Gandhi.

It's her first visit to New Delhi after assuming office as Chief Minister on 16th of last month. Official sources say, she is expected to discuss developmental projects in Tamil Nadu and the issue of rehabilitation of Tamils in Sri Lanka when she meets Dr Singh. She is accompanied by the Tamil Nadu Finance Minister and state Chief Secretary.
