The ACB Court has extended the judicial remand of Revanth Reddy for two more weeks following a memo submitted by the ACB lawyers today. The ACB lawyer argued that the investigation in the note-for-vote case is in crucial stage. Hence, the court shouldn’t grant bail to Revanth Reddy, who may influence the witnesses. The court agreeing with the ACB lawyer’s argument has extended bail to Revanth Reddy till July 13th.
Revanth Reddy also has filed a separate petition in the ACB Court today. His lawyer argued that some private persons also questioned and tried to lure him during four days interrogation by SIT. But, the ACB Court has stated that his petition will be taken up for hearing in a later period along with ACB counter filed on the same. Hence, Revanth Reddy and all other accused in this case were shifted to Charlapalli Central jail immediately. However, the High Court will take up his bail petition on Tuesday.
