TDP may allot RS seat to BJP

By-elections for the lone Rajya Sabha seat in AP will be held on July 3rd that was fall vacant with the death of MP Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy. Since, TDP has enough MLAs to elbow the other party candidates from the race, several leaders in the party are desperate to grab the seat. However, it is learnt that TDP President Chandrababu Naidu has promised to allot it to Union Minister of Commerce, Nirmala Sitaraman of BJP as she is not member of either Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha, which is mandatory to continue as union minister. So, TDP leaders expecting nomination may be very much disappointed to hear this news.
