No one is behind me: Jayasudha

The Movie Artists Association elections are slated for March 29th. The city civil court responding to a petition filed by Kalyan has refused to stay the elections. The outgoing president of MAA Murali Mohan, Ali and few others were attended the court today. After hearing their arguments, the court gave green signal for conducting the elections for MAA, but orders the MAA governing body to make a video record of the elections process. It orders not to declare the results until it gives clearance for it after watching the video footage of the elections process.

Jayasudha holds press meet at Film Chamber of Commerce today evening after hearing the court orders. She said, “I never thought that the MAA elections would be this much bad. I am contesting these elections only because many people in the industry insisted me, but no one is driving me from behind. I have my own principles and policies. I wish I help the needy in the film industry. If I win the elections, I will ask my panel members to donate first to provide financial assistance to the poor artists in the industry. I am well aware about the problems of the film industry. But, I am not making any tall promises to win the elections. If I am elected, I will try to resolve the problems of the industry. I don’t think it is wise to sling mud against each other.”
