TS to dole out boons for poor

The government is all set to announce special schemes to meet the issues of people in semi-urban and rural areas to ward off criticism that some of its polices in the first year were “urban-centric” and revolved around Hyderabad and other cities like Warangal and Karimnagar.

Youth and student-centric policies are also likely to be announced by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao during his address at Parade Grounds on the occasion of the first anniversary of the TS Formation Day on June 2.

Mr Rao has wished to fulfill the huge expectations, but the delay in bifurcation of employees and AIS officials between AP and TS slowed down the government in meeting targets. This has led to a gap between devising policies and meeting the aspirations of the people in the first year, which Mr Rao now plans to bridge. TRS government is quite confident of meeting expectation of the people in the upcoming years with their ambitious policies and projects.
