Jagan seeks CBI probe on political murders

YSR Congress Party President Jagan Mohan Reddy accompanied by his party MLAs have met Governor Narasimhan on Monday afternoon. They have submitted a memorandum requesting him to direct the state government to order a CBI probe into political murders taking place in the state, particularly the brutal murder of YSRCP leaders including Prasad Reddy’s.

In their memorandum submitted to the Governor, YSRCP urges him that unless the state-sponsored murders are checked and the culprits are identified and brought to book, TDP cadre can’t be controlled. Hence, a CBI investigation is to be ordered immediately to investigate into the political murders.” YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy has not maintained any hypocrisy to point out at CM Chandrababu Naidu and his government for failing to control Law and Order situation in the state.

Although, Governor has not made any commitments to them, the intensity of his complaints may create some negative atmosphere for the state government in the Raj Bhavan. Hence, TDP leaders have to react immediately on his matter, otherwise it may send a wrong message to the people also.
