Chopper crashed, 19 killed

The air force helicopter having 19 people on board including IAF and Para-military forces crashed at Gaurikund in Uttarakhand yesterday due to bad weather condition. All the 19 on board were feared to be killed on the spot. NDMA Chairman Sridhar Reddy has announced that so far, 8 bodies were recovered and search for the rest is going on. However, IAF officials have stated that the rescue operations will continue until the last deluge victim is evacuated from the place. IAF has ordered an inquiry into the accident.
