Famous Ghazal Maestro Padma Bhushan Jagjit Singh  passed away this morning. Prime Minister and prominent people around the world expressed their grief on the sudden demise of the gifted Ghazal Singer.
 
Telugu Ghazal Maestro Dr. Ghazal Srinivas, who happens to be a close associate of Jagjit Singh ji, is shocked to hear the news. Sharing his memories about the great personality with the media, Ghazal Srinivas said "Dr Jagjit Singh's contribution to the art of ghazal singing is remarkable. He is a trend setter. His five decades of ghazal singing itself is an inspiration to the upcoming ghazal singers. I pray the almighty to rest his soul in peace. My deepest condolences to the bereaved family."
