Gali Janardhan Reddy Bail Plea Rejected

The Nampally Criminal Court today dismissed the bail petitions of the mining baron, Mr Gali Janardhan Reddy and his brother-in-law Mr Srinivasa Reddy who were arrested in the illegal mining case on September 5 and lodged in the Chanchalguda jail in Hyderabad.

The CBI court also accepted the plea of the CBI to hand over the two accused to them for further interrogation and investigation. Further to its orders, the court directed the CBI to take both Janardhan Reddy and Srinivasa Reddy into their custody today. Both of them will be in CBI custody till 10.30 am on September 19. CBI teams will interrogate Janardhan Reddy and Srinivasa Reddy and extract information from them on the involvement of the officials in the illegal mining.
