ED attaches Rs.143.74 crores in Jagan’s cases

Enforcement Directorate confirms fresh attachment of Rs.143.74 crores in Jagan Mohan Reddy’s disproportionate assets case. Out of this amount Rs.133.74 crores belongs to Ramkhi group and the balance Rs.10 crores worth bonds owned by Jagathi Publications. ED has proposed for this attachment in January 2013 itself. But, the concerned authority given permission today only after the arguments concluded today. Earlier, ED has attached Rs.299 crores in the same cases. With the latest attachment the total amount attached in these cases crosses Rs.433 crores. ED has plans for further attachments in these cases.
