CV Raman's village gets WiFi connection!

Nobel laureate CV Raman's village in Thanjavur district has finally been touched by technology. The village from which another Nobel laureate S Chandrasekhar also belonged to is soon to get 2Mbps WiFi connectivity. This is part of an initiative by the World Broadband Alliance (WBA) which is connective remote parts of the country to technology. On June 20, the World Wi-Fi Day, the village will get its internet access.
