Chandrababu Naidu to Delhi again

Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will be conferred with the prestigious Bharat Ratna award at New Delhi today. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is going to New Delhi to attend this function. But, his visit to New Delhi may trigger questions about the central financial aid promised to the state.

Few days ago, Union Minister Sujana Chowdary has announced that Center is going to release around 10-15, 000 crores to the state before end of this month. He also stated that CM Chandrababu Naidu will be invited to Delhi for discussion on these matters, after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley returns from his foreign visit. But, he didn’t get any invitation from New Delhi until now. Hence, he might have grabbed this opportunity to meet the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. There are reports that Center has granted Rs.250 crores to the Polavaram Project recently. Except that, Center has not released any huge funds to the state as announced by Sujana Chowdary. So, Chandrababu Naidu may once again remind the Finance Minister Arun Jaitley about releasing funds to the state during his present visit to New Delhi today.
