Amar Singh Injured as Chopper Makes Emergency Landing

Mr. Singh, who was on a campaign trail for his newly founded RLM party, got himself injured after he jumped out of a helicopter while it was making an emergency landing at Hamirpur in Uttar Pradesh.

Amar Singh is the one who had played a key role in ensuring Samajwadi Party's support to the UPA government at the Centre in 2008, which had helped the ruling coalition survive a crucial trust vote in the Parliament. He is also facing the CBI's cash-for-vote charges and is on bail as of now.
