Akbar Booked - Pahalwan Released on Bail

Mohammed Pahalwan, prime accused in MIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi attack case, that took place on 30 April, has been released on bail. Five other co-accused were also relased on bail along with Pahalwan on Friday.

They were greeted by a large number of their followers who took out a rally from Cherlapally to Chandrayangutta. The rally ended at Omar function hall owned by Mohammed Pahelwan. The high court on Thursday had granted bail to Pahelwan and others including Eisa Yafai, Yahya Yafai, Fazal Yafai, Faisal Yafai and Hasan Yafai. Pahelwan and the others were lodged in jail soon after the attack on Akbaruddin near Barkas. All the accused were arrested under various sections.

Interestingly, Akbaruddin Owaisi and two others were booked for murder in the same case on Thursday as per directions of the High Court.
