Two years Jail for Jeevitha Rajashekar

Telugu actor Dr Rajshekar's wife Jeevitha Rajshekar was sentenced to two years jail by Erramanzil court in Hyderabad on Monday.The court pronounced the decision while responding to a petition filed by Yavadaithi Nakenti director Shekar Reddy stating that she has to give him Rs 25 lakh.It is learnt that Jeevitha had issued a cheque for Rs 22 lakhs to Yavadaithi Nakenti director Shekar Reddy which bounced.
In October last year, the Nampally court had issued a non-bailable warrant against the actress in connection with the case. After several requests also she did not take seriously and that’s what when he approached the court seeking help. Court also asked Jeevitha to furnish two sureties and a personal bond of Rs 25 lakh after hearing to the complaint.
This is not the first time Rajasekhar and Jeevitha are involved in a cheque bounce case. In 2008 and 2010, they faced the similar cases.Jeevitha is an actress-turned-filmmaker is remembered for her performance in Talambralu;"Dharma Pathini" and "Maruthi". As a director, she has helmed films such as "Satyameva Jayate" and "Mahankali".
