WhatsApp to limit number of forwards

In the scenario of growing cases of lynching based on false rumours, WhatApp was warned by the government to take severe actions to curb false propaganda. WhatsApp in response has already started labelling the forwarded messages to warn the users about their credibility. Now WhatsApp is going to introduce another feature to its messaging APP. It’s going to place a limit on number of times you could forward a message. The limit is presently fixed at 5 times. Once you try to forward a message for more than 5 times, the forward button would automatically get disables. WhatApp is hoping that this new measure would curb the unauthenticated forwarding messages. It would also act as a limit upon messages offering free vouchers, airline tickets with fake links.
