Updated : Dec 18, 2024

Pushpa 2 The Rule has become a huge record-breaking blockbuster and it is racing to collect Rs.1500 crores gross worldwide. Allu Arjun starrer used the overwhelming connection with Pushpa Raj character, mainly in Hindi markets, to create such sensation.

Movie has collected record numbers in Central India and mass pockets of UP, Bihar. No other Hindi film has been able to create such sensation in those markets in recent times. Jawan, Pathaan, Stree 2, Gadar 2 have been able to collect big but still, Pushpa 2 has crossed every record in these markets for any movie.

Looking at such a great response, Sukumar has been suggested to plan a sequel to Rangasthalam as Chitti Babu character played by Ram Charan has many fans in Telugu States. Undoubtedly, it is the career best performance and role of Ram Charan.

Sukumar has been asked to plan a sequel to Rangasthalam with Chitti Babu character taking another village's rebellion against another oppressor. But the director has plainly rejected to this idea it seems. He has plans to create a different character for the actor and not make another sequel after going through Pushpa 2 process.

The director felt it is taxing to work on a sequel while working on Pushpa 2. So, he wants to go with a new story for Ram Charan and after #RC16, he wants to follow up with another great character. Let's see what the director will decide as he will be working with same producers Mythri Movie Makers.
