Telugu movie lovers and older generation couldn't forget the classic devotional flick Bhakta Kannappa. Now, Manchu Vishnu is coming up with a film titled Kannappa at pan India level.

The project was launched in style recently and is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh. Manisharma and Stephen Devassay score music while the cinematography taken care of by Sheldon Shau. Rebel Star Prabhas, Mohanlal and Nayanthara are playing key roles in the film.

The makers recently began the shoot in New Zealand and Vishnu Manchu sustained injuries during the shoot of an action sequence. As per the sources, Vishnu sustained several injuries on his hand when the drone crashed into him. The shooting has been put on hold for now.
