The proposed Hindi remake of Ravi Teja and Rajamouli directed masala entertainer Vikramarkudu is titled Rowdy Rathod. Choreographer turned director Prabhu Deva is directing this movie and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The shooting for this Rowdy Rathod is expected to start in July and all the operations have already started.

Ravi Teja's Vikramarkudu was already remade in Kannada as Veera Madakari and in Tamil as 'Siruthai' with Karthi in the lead, and now this movie is being remade in Hindi with the title Rowdy Rathod starring action hero Akshay Kumar. What's more, new Bollywood sensation Sonakshi Sinha plays heroine beside Akshay Kumar in Rowdy Rathod. The movie delivered hit in all the three languages and the makers in Hindi just hope the same with Akshay Kumar.
