Scores of fans thronged Sri Ramachandra Hospital at Porur in Chennai to know more about Rajinikanth's health condition. Even top leaders including Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi and Andhra Pradesh former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu dropped at the hospital to meet the superstar Rajinikanth and find out about his health condition. “Rajinikanth is doing fine and he's in a cheerful mood and even cracked jokes. I guess he is spending his vacation in the hospital.” said Narendra Modi.

Even Chandra Babu Naidu said, “I spoke to Rajinikanth and spend some time with him. There is nothing to worry about his health. He is recovering fast.”. Both Chandra Babu Naidu and Narendra Modi were in Chennai to attend the swearing-in ceremony of AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for the third time.

 

Rajinikanth was hospitalized earlier this month, after the superstar complained of stomach infection. After being treated for some time he was discharged from the hospital the same day with doctors advising complete rest. However, Rajinkanth was hospitalized for the second time within few days due to breathlessness and lung infection and this has triggered his death rumors.
