Akshay Kumar's Toilet Ek Prem Katha is going strong at box office. While the movie minted Rs 12 crores on Monday, it collected a Nett amount of Rs 20 crores on Tuesday. The Independence Day holiday has helped to boon collections. Overall, Toilet raked in Rs 83.45 crores till Tuesday and it is expected to reach 100 crores milestone in India in a couple of days. The movie is going to provide massive profits to producers since it was made on moderate budget.
Interestingly, Toilet Ek Prem Katha had got mixed response from critics. However, audience reject critics verdict and are encouraging the good concept. The film supports Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, a governmental campaign to improve the sanitation conditions, with an emphasis on the eradication of open defecation, especially in rural areas. Apparently, makers have backing of central government since it promotes a good cause.
