Superstar Mahesh Babu is making his Tamil debut with AR Murugadoss directing film Spyder. Though few of his previous films were dubbed and released in the neighboring state, Spyder marks Mahesh's first straight Tamil film.

It is learnt that the makers of the film are planning to conduct a grand launch event in Chennai on September 9th to mark Mahesh Babu's first appearance in Tamil. It is going to be a grand gala with several Tamil biggies attending it, apart from the film unit.

Mahesh Babu had already impressed Tamil spectators by uttering Tamil dialogues fluently in second teaser of the film released few days ago. In fact, Mahesh Babu spent his childhood days in Chennai and he has special bonding with the city. What's more, Mahesh Babu usually converses in Tamil with Tamil actors on his film sets. All these factors are going to have optimistic effect on Spyder Tamil version. 

Interim, Spyder which also has an ensemble of actors including Rakul Preet Singh, S J Surya, Bharath, Jayaprakash and RJ Balaji is slated for release on September 27th.
