Updated : May 23, 2011

Venkatesh new Telugu movie 'Bodygaurd' shooting commenced couple of days back. This Bodyguard movie is a Telugu remake of Malayalam movie 'Bodyguard' and Salman Khan might enact the same movie in Hindi remake. Bellamkonda Suresh, who is a specialist in remake, is producing this under his Sai Ganesh Productions banner and directed by 'Don Seenu' fame Gopichand Malineni.

Trisha is playing heroine besides Venkatesh for the third time after 'Aadavari Maatalaku Ardhaale Verule' and 'Namo Venkatesa'. Their combination movies earlier were pretty successful and now the hit pair is coming together for the third time. The movie has already done well in Malayalam and also in Tamil (Vijay and Asin). Can Gopichand Malineni strike the chord in Telugu with this hit pair?

What works in Gopichand Mallineni's fame is that he has a hit pair in the lead roles. He also has done himself a favor by delivering a reasonable good movie in the form of 'Don Seenu'. However, Venkatesh has his task cut out since he has not delivered a comprehensive successful movie since 'Tulasi'. There's SS Thaman composing the music and Kona Venkat writing the screenplay for this movie. So if Gopichand Malineni can properly mobilize these resources, he can surely deliver a hit.
