There's a buzz across the tinsel town that actress Simran is playing in Nagarjuna's Damarukam movie. Recently, Simran said that she's playing a significant role in a Telugu movie which has a star hero. Perhaps the rumors might come true when we Simran sharing on screen presence with Akkineni Nagarjuna. In fact, Nagarjuna and Simra together have enacted in few Telugu movies like Baava Nacchadu, Nuvvu Vastavani, etc.

Dhamarukam Telugu movie is directed by Srinivas Reddy and produced by Venkat under R R Movie makers banner. Anushka is playing the female lead in this movie, which recently shot in song sequence in Switzerland. Nagarjuna's Damarukam story is said to be in a socio-fantasy backdrop with high end graphics. Devi Sri Prasad is the music director for Damarukam while Chota K Naidu is handling the camera.
