Athiloka Sundari Sridevi made comeback to films after some gap with Mom which was released last week to mixed response. While Sridevi's last Hindi movie 'English Vinglish' raked over 100 crores and scored hit in all languages, her Mom has failed miserably at box office. Thus far, Mom directed by Ravi Udyawar collected Rs 21.40 crores nett until Wednesday which is a poor performance. 

Though Sridevi and other lead actors performed well and all the technical team also gave their best, Mom is getting lukewarm response from movie buffs. Old content and sluggish narration is believed to be reason for the movie turning out to be a dud.
