Vijayendra Prasad, very few people knew about this writer-director before the release of Baahubali. But, now everyone recognizes this man who is father of ace director SS Rajamouli after the release of India's highest grosser. Though Vijayendra Prasad penned for several super hits in the past, Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Baahubali success provided him immense craze and fame. Now, many filmmakers are requesting him to write stories and are offering massive amounts to work for their films. Right now, he is the busiest writers in India.

However, the same man failed to impress as director. His first directorial Arthanghi released in 1996 was a dud. His second film as director- Sri Krishna was also a flop. Prasad's last movie Rajanna which won critical accolades was also a commercial failure. Now, the ace writer is coming up with his latest directorial Sri Valli which has been postponed for numerous times.

Sri Valli was ready for release long ago. However, makers of the film postponed to release it after the outing of Baahubali 2. Now, the makers are planning to release Sri Valli in June second week.

Latest news is Rajamouli has stepped in to lend his voice for the film, which would help in generating buzz. It may be mentioned here that, Rajamouli composed couple of fights in his dad's last movie Rajanna. Furthermore, Sri Valli makers are planning to release the film in Tamil and few other languages.
