When makers of Shatamanam Bhavati announced to release their film for Sankranthi to compete with megastar Chiranjeevi’s Khaidi No 150 and Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna’s Gautamiputra Satakarni, many had laughed t them saying they had taken a deadly decision. But, proving them wrong, the Stish Vegeshna directed and Dil Raju produced film is raking good numbers from theaters.
The Sharwanand and Anupama Parameswaran starrer film has at last crossed Rs 25 crores mark. Next target of the film is 30 crores and seems like it is easily achievable. In fact, the long weekend is helping Sankranthi releases to mint more. Since Shatamanam Bhavati is a family entertainer, families are giving prime priority for this film.
Now, Sharwanand has joined the list of young heroes with 25 crore share films. Earlier, Nithin, Naga Chaitanya, Nani and Sai Dharam Tej have achieved the feat.
Shatamanam Bhavati celebrated its success meet yesterday and Chiranjeevi, VV Vinayak were guests for the event.
