Sharwanand experienced a string of disasters following the release of Mahanubhavudu in 2017. Hero Sharwanand, who had a series of failures like Padi Padi Leche Manasu, Ranarangam, Jaanu, Srikaram, Maha Samudram, and Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu, received great reviews and word of mouth with his new sci-fi drama Oke Oka Jeevitham.

Shree Karthik directed the film, which garnered critical acclaim. However, the film did well until the weekend and then dropped in terms of collections on Monday.

It seems that recovering the budget will be difficult. The film was also released in Tamil under the title Kanam, however it did not perform well there. Despite competing with star heroes' blockbuster movies, Sharwanand used to deliver enormous hits like Mahanubhavudu and Run Raja Run during the Sankranthi and Dussehra seasons.

Despite great word of mouth, his films are no longer catching audiences' attention. The impact of Sharwanand's last six flops is undoubtedly hurting the box office collections of Oke Oka Jeevitham. It remains to be seen whether Sharwa will get a clean hit at the box office without any tension in his next films.
