Sankrantiki Vasthunnam starring Victory Venkatesh, Aishwarya Rajesh, Meenakshi Chaudhary has been dominating the box office for this festival. While it looked like an underdog with Game Changer and Daaku Maharaaj but it exploded like never before. Family audiences have taken a huge liking to the film. 

Anil Ravipudi after F2 is able to once again enjoy such a huge wave of family appreciation for this film. Venkatesh has delivered blockbusters for Sankranti but this is his career highest grosser within just two days. The movie grossed over Rs.77 crores and it is running with 100% occupancies in Telugu States. 

In a way, the movie is denting the losses Dil Raju had to face with Game Changer debacle. As they did not spend too much on this film, its box office collections are going to be huge boost for their profits. Even Day 3 is huge for the film and as it slips into weekend time, family audiences will be queuing further to theatres. 

So, Anil Ravipudi's calculated move to bring this film for Sankranti festival did prove successful and apt for the film. Makers wanted Game Changer to have some good run at the box office despite bad reviews during the festival but its debacle is also helping Sankrantiki Vasthunnam to perform this huge.
