Saif Ali Khan, the famous Bollywood star actor, has been gravely injured by an intruder in his Mumbai Home. In the early morning hours on Thursday, a burgler attacked Saif with a knife, when the actor tried to stop him. He has been immediately rushed to a nearby hospital in Bandra and the actor's surgery has been successful. 

Going into the details, around 2:30 AM on Thursday, an intruder entered into the house of Saif Ali Khan. The actor tried to stop him and scared, the burgler attacked with knife. Immediately, the actor has been rushed to Lilavati hospital and doctors have conducted a surgery on his wounds. 

Doctors have reportedly stated that the actor sustained 6 stab wounds with two being very deep and two mid and two superficial. They stated that he is lucky that his spine did not get affected. They also confirmed that his vital organs are not affected and they are working fine. 

Jr.NTR, who worked with the actor in his recent blockbuster Devara, expressed his deep shock about the incident, on X. He wished Saif Ali Khan, a speedy recovery. Many actors and even Megastar Chiranjeevi expressed his shock about the incident. Famous Bollywood celebrities are rushing to Lilavati Hospital to visit Saif. 

Mumbai Crime Branch Police have sent sniffer dogs to Saif's residence and also enquiring surrounding neighbors about the incident. They have announced that they have appointed separate teams to nab the perpetrator as soon as possible.
