Saif Ali Khan was attacked at his own residence in Bandra in January. The actor was stabbed six times and doctors removed a 2.5 inch hexa blade from his back. Doctors had to operate near his spine and currently, the actor started recovering, completely. 

He talked to Bombay Times about the attack and he praised Kareena Kapoor Khan's composure and motherly instinct. He stated that while they wanted to get the attacker, she tried to find help and immediately send him to a hospital. He stated that he shouted for rickshaw as car took time and the driver was slow, tender understanding the situation. 

He also stated that he took Taimur with him as the young kid looked undeterred by the situation. Saif stated that looking at Taimur, he felt relaxed in such a dangerous situation as well, hence, he let him accompany. On the other hand, he stated that the attacker had two knives and they reacted on instincts. 

Meanwhile, Kareena Kapoor shared a Instagram story that reads, "You’ll never truly understand Marriages, Divorces, Anxieties, Childbirth, Death of a loved one, Parenting. Until it actually happens to you, Theories and assumptions of situations in life are not realities. You think you are smarter than most until life humbles you when it’s your turn." 

She seems to have been shaken by this incident and she wants to recover from this trauma as soon as she can. On the other hand, Saif Ali Khan has praised his wife for helping him in a tough situation. But the rumor mills tried to suggest that she was behind this attack, what can we say!
