Manmadhudu film has become a cult classic and the movie has a huge following among youth for its comedy, romance. The movie's second leading lady, Anshu, almost disappeared after acting in two more films and she is now, back with Mazaka. Anshu shared a few interesting things about her life before re-entry. 

She stated that she did not take acting career seriously, as she was 16-17 years of age, when she worked in films like Manmadhudu, Raghavendra and Missamma. She gave up on her budding acting career and moved to London for higher studies. After completing her post graduation, she married and settled there. 

But her father always wished for her to continue acting and she tried for acting in Hindi films and International as well. But they struggled to identify her as they stated that they never saw those films. Now, she states that South Cinema has huge following everywhere but not 20 years ago. 

She shared that she wanted to pursue acting again and Manmadhudu re-release came as a blessing. She appeared in several interviews and moved to Hyderabad after discussing with her hubby for few months and landed Mazaka. The Trinadha Rao Nakkina directorial is a comedy starring Sundeep Kishan and Rao Ramesh as father-son bachelors. It is scheduled for release on 26th February.
