This is the most unexpected announcement that has come at a time when people are engulfed in the craze of films like Baahubali and Srimanthudu. Out of the blue, Gunasekhar has plunged into the situation to announce a release date for this long pending “Rudramadevi”.

Nearly two months it is for Rudramadevi to miss the dates, as the film that transferred the life and times of Kakatiya queen Rudramdevi into celluloid was suppose to hit cinemas in Summer. Now that Baahubali and Srimanthudu are likely to take over July completely, Gunasekhar confirmed that Rudrama will be releasing on June 26th.

In that case, Gunasekhar has just two weeks before Baahubali arrives and he should make the most of this time in terms of collections. Is his decision wise or not? Only people will be able to tell it with their verdict once the film releases.
