Superstar Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated film Robo 2.0 (2 Point 0) which was supposed to release on January 26th is postponed to April 13th for Tamil New Year owing to delay in post-production works. Interestingly, Akshay Kumar’s new film PadMan which was originally slated to hit theatres on April 13 is pre-poned to January 26. As we all know, Akshay Kumar has essayed main antagonist in Shankar directed 2.0.
Rajinikanth’s sudden entry into summer bothers Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun. While Mahesh Babu’s Bharath Ane Nenu in Koratala Siva’s direction is confirmed to release on April 20th, Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s war backdrop film Naa Peeru Surya (tagline-Naa Illu India) will also release during the same time.
Rajinikanth is a global star and he has almost equal market to that of Telugu superstars. What’s more, Robo 2.0 is one of the most awaited films in India in 2018. It needs to be seen whether Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun will release their films on scheduled date or postpone it further.
