Updated : Jun 9, 2017

Director Kalyan Krishna made an impressive debut with Soggade Chinni Nayana which had become a biggest hit in Nagarjuna career by minting around Rs 50 cr shares. Nagarjuna gave Krishna a responsibility of providing a commercial hit to his son Naga Chaitanya. The ‘Oopiri’ star even produced the film Rarandoi Veduka Chudham on good budget under Annapurna Studios.

Rarandoi Veduka Chudham too is turning out to be a hit. The Rakul Preet Singh co-starrer film collected a share of Rs 22 crores till date. Apparently, Nagarjuna is not convinced with RVC’s final output, as the film got mixed response owing to sluggish narration and good season is best and only reason for the movie performing well at box office than expected.

Insiders inform that, Nagarjun who is currently busy wrapping up Raju Gari Gadhi 2 has put SCN sequel Bangarraju on hold for now. Nag is said to have told Kalyan to come up with perfect script as to start Bangarraju.

It is to be seen whether Kalyan Krishna wait until Nagarjuna gives nod for his project or look for other heroes to make a film in the meantime!
