Puri Jagannadh is currently busy with upcoming film Double Ismart which stars Ustaad Ram Pothineni as the main lead. The film shoot progressing halted due to budget issues. As everything cleared out, the shoot resumed recently in Mumbai. Bollywood baddie Sanjay Dutt is playing Big Bull role in the film. Kavya Thapar is playing female lead.

Melody Brahma Manisharma who gave chartbuster music for Ismart Shankar will be scoring tunes. And fans are eager to listen the first single from the film. Makers planning to release the film's first single next week.

The makers missed the announced release date and they are now in plans to release the film on July 5th. The film will release a week after the release of Prabhas’ Kalki 2898 AD. Double iSmart will also have a pan-Indian release.

The entire shoot will be completed in a week and the major portion of shoot is done in Mumbai. Puri Connects are the producers. The first single from Double iSmart will be out in this month and the makers are in plans to kick-start the promotions.

Apart from directing the movie, Puri Jagannadh is also bankrolling it along with Charmme Kaur under their banner, Puri Connects.
