Updated : Jun 10, 2026

Priya Bhavani Shankar has officially completed filming her scenes for the upcoming Telugu movie, Irumudi. Marking the occasion, she posted a few behind-the-scenes pictures on Instagram to share her experience working on the project.

Reflecting on her time on set, she wrote, "We shot scenes, took home a thousand memories, collected a few inside jokes, laughed at things that weren’t supposed to be funny, and somehow finished a film. What a lovely journey this has been."

Directed by Shiva Nirvana, Irumudi marks a clear shift in genre for lead actor Ravi Teja. He is stepping away from his regular action-oriented scripts to play a middle-class father who takes up a spiritual path. The story heavily focuses on the emotional bond between his character and his daughter, played by Baby Nakshatra.

Recent promotional material has shown both Ravi Teja and Priya in grounded, everyday looks, pointing toward a character-driven family drama rather than a commercial entertainer. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film is currently making its way through production and is slated for a worldwide release on August 21st.
