Ponniyin Selvan OTT Release Date & Platform

The first instalment of Mani Ratnam's dream project 'Ponniyin Selvan,' titled 'PS-1,' was released on September 30. Despite mixed reviews in Telugu, this film was a box office success. And in Tamil, this film is breaking all-time records and is still going strong. This film recovered a lot from the first part despite having a huge budget of Rs. 500 crores.

 

Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jayaram, Prabhu, Parthiban, Prakashraj, and others have appeared in films. This film, starring top actors, has also broken the records of 'Vikram,' which is the year's biggest hit in Tamil.

 

'PS-1' has so far grossed over Rs 460 crore worldwide. It is unknown whether it will gross more than Rs.500 crores, but many audiences are anticipating the film's OTT release. In this context, it should be noted that the date for the OTT release of this film has been set. 'Ponniyan Selvan-1,' according to reports, will be available on Amazon Prime Video starting November 18.

 

This prestigious project was co-produced by Mani Ratnam and Subhaskaran under the banners of 'Lyca Productions' and 'Madras Talkies.' AR Rahman composed the music, and Ravi Varma directed the film. This film was released in Telugu states by successful producer Dil Raju under the banner of 'Sri Venkateswara Creations.'
