The Mumbai police has registered a case under section 4 R W (21) of Tobacco Act against prominent Bollywood actor Vivek Oberai yesterday. Reportedly, during a special raid, the police caught Vivek and 24 others while smoking hookah in a popular restaurant at Mumbai suburb, Vile Parle. Smoking hookah at public places has been banned by the government and anyone who violates it are subjected to a penal offense. Though, Vivek pleaded the police to let him go off, the police refused to do so. However, the actor denied smoking hookah as and soon the news broke out. Ironically, Vivek Oberoi was the brand ambassador of anti-smoking campaign led by World Health Organization.
