As a small film, 'Karthikeya 2' has recently become a super phenomenon across the country. This film, which was presented to the audience with no expectations as a mystery adventure thriller, performed exceptionally well at the box office.

This film was released as a sequel to the 2014 film Karthikeya, and starred young actor Nikhil as the hero. Abhishek Aggarwal and TJ Vishwa Prasad co-produce the film, which is directed by Chandoo Mondeti.

Karthikeya 2, which was released in Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil languages in theatres on August 13, grossed around Rs. 120 crore, with a share of Rs. 60 crore collected. This film had a break-even target of 13 crores when it was released. Karthikeya 2 will be released in Malayalam theatres on September 23.

Meanwhile, after a theatrical release, any movie should be released on OTT. Karthikeya 2 is likewise ready for OTT premiere in this order. Karthikeya 2's OTT rights, however, were acquired by Zee Studios. The film will be broadcast on 'ZEE 5'.

And, according to the most recent information, Karthikeya 2 will be available for streaming in all languages starting September 30. If not, a formal announcement will be made. Anupama plays the heroine in this film, and Anupam Kher plays a key role.
