Matru Devo Bhava: woman whose husband is killed in an incident gets to know that she is diagnosed with cancer. She wants her children to be brought up in a family atmosphere rather than in the Ashram and the children are adopted by different families. You'll definitely move into tears after watching this highly emotive film.

 Bichagadu: A rich man becomes a beggar for 48 days in order to save his mother. Though the plot appears silly for many, director Sasi made the film with right emotions from start to end.

Chatrapati: This is the story of Chatrapati Sivaji who overcomes this oppression and how he reunites with his long lost mother and brother. Mother-son sentiment scenes were rightly dealt by SS Rajamouli.

Amma Nanna O Tamila Ammayi: A mother sacrifices everything including her husband for her son. Though director Puri Jagannadh made it as a commercial entertainer, the film surely make family audiences emotional.

Amma Cheppindi: A mentally underdeveloped youngster helps the township and the country with his heroic deed as his token of appreciation to his doting mother, when Inter-Services Intelligence plans to bomb the rocket center during a prominent event. Though it was a commercial failure, it is still one of the best movies on mother-son sentiment.

Yamaleela: The film's story is how a young guy cheats and troubles Yama Dharmaraja in order to save his mother. Mother-son sentiment worked well on the screen.

Yogi: A mother from a small village searches for her son in a city; unaware that he has changed his name and is now both a target and a threat for all the gangsters of the city. While the song 'Ye Nomu' makes everyone sentimental, the theme appeals to all mother-loving sons.
